We had a fun day celebrating the 100th birthday of Dr. Seuss. Some of us brought cuddlies like blankets, pillows and sleeping bags for a comfy day of reading.

We started our day upstairs in our new library, where our librarian read a book by Dr. Seuss. We wore the silly red and white striped hats that we made.

When we got back to our classroom we snuggled up with books and friends.

Did I mention that we had green eggs and ham for lunch? We also ate yummy cupcakes.

Near the end of the day a special visitor stopped by.

After our busy day of reading and eating we snuggled up to watch a movie called "The Cat in the Hat", of course!
