Santa's Workshop ~ December 2006

We were Busy Elves, getting ready for Christmas. We made Santa ornaments, wrapping paper, cards and a gift. Many thanks to the parents who came to help us!

Aren't our little Santa ornaments cute? We used juice can lids to make them really sturdy. Aren't WE cute, too?

We made the wrapping paper by sponge painting trees onto brown paper bags.

Okay, now it's time to make the gifts ~ pen and pencil holders. We used soup cans, tissue paper and glue-water. As one Busy Elf said, "This is a lot of work!"

Time for secrets between mother and son.

As we finished our cans, the moms painted one more layer of glue-water on them to make sure all the tissue edges were down.

We're done! Time to clean up.

Look at all our beautiful cans!

We had a music program at night! Aren't we all so handsome and beautiful?

After the show some of the girls decided to line up to sing again. Look! More girls!

Some kids colored while they waited for their parents to come pick them up.

We sure had a lot of fun at school! And now we are ready for our winter break!

Merry Christmas!
