Newsletters ~ Every Friday I
will send home a Busy Bees Newsletter to keep you informed as to
what is going on in our classroom. Look for the goldenrod-colored
packet in your child's backpack.
Homework ~ Your child will be
expected to do a little bit of weekly homework that will give him
or her a chance to apply what he or she has learned in class during
the week. The homework will be attached to the Friday Newsletter.
Folders ~ Each child needs to
bring a folder to put important papers in. I do not look in the
folders for notes and homework. It is the child's job to
put these items in the proper places in our classroom. This helps
the child learn the importance of responsibility.
Baby Wipes ~ We use these every
day and need LOTS of boxes. Please donote UNSCENTED wipes to our
class as needed. I will put a Wipes Alert in our Newsletter when
we are running out.
Lunches
~ Daily prices: lunch is $2.75; milk is 60 cents. The easiest payment
option for your child is for you to open a lunch account at the
office.
Absences ~ When your child is
sick, please call the office so the secretary will not need to call
you.
Medical Conditions ~ Please alert
me of any medical conditions, including allergies. All medications
must be accompanied by a note and be administered by the nurse.
Early Pickups ~ When picking
your child up early, please go directly to the office. The secretary
will call for your child.
